Our School Day
School Hours
(Differences may apply depending on the age and year level of pupils.)
The Kindergarten operates Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) according to the following schedule.
| 9:00 a.m. | Commencement of school day We ask that all children arrive in the class by 9:00 a.m. in order to enjoy the full day's activities. Late arrivals disrupt the cycle of activity and lessons. Arriving on time reflects to your child your attitude that school is valued and promptness is important. |
| 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. (Nursery classes) | English language: Purposeful Play, Whole group/Small group or Individual Curriculum based lessons, Circle Time, Snack, Outdoor play/or Indoor play. Lunch is at 11:30. |
| 12.00 p.m. | Nursery classes - half-day pick up; Nap Time |
| 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. | English language: Purposeful Play (EYFS), Whole group/Small group or Individual Curriculum based lessons, Circle Time, Snack, Music, P.E., Swimming, Clay, Outdoor play/Indoor play |
| 12.00 p.m. - 12.40 p.m. | Lunch for children |
| 12.45 p.m. - 2.00 p.m. | Nap Time for Kindergarten, Montessori and Reception classes |
| 2.00 p.m. - 2.20 p.m. | Snack Time |
| 2.20 p.m. - 2.50 p.m. | Chinese circle time |
| 1.00 p.m. - 2.50 p.m. | Year One classes - Continuation of lessons, Mandarin and English and Snack time |
| 2.50 p.m. - 3 p.m. | School Bus children leave, parents pick up children. |
We kindly ask that you wait for your child outside the classroom at dismissal time to allow for the end-of-day routines to finish.
