Our International Kindergarten Division has grown and developed over the years, we now embrace 3 Campuses, Hongmei, Zhao Xiang and our Zhiding Campus: Early Childhood Centre. We are so proud of the nurturing and stimulating environments we provide; it brings us great joy to see our children thriving and developing to their full potential.

At Soong Ching Ling Kindergarten we are fortunate to offer the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage), Key Stage 1 (Primary) National Curriculum of England and Montessori in our Kindergarten. Our specially designed curriculum ensures that they are all having fun as they develop socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually. We provide a unique and creative approach to Early Years’ learning, drawing on the natural curiosity of childhood and the very best of Early Years’ principles.

With our caring and dedicated teachers’ guidance, our children learn through play and explorative inquiry based  learning. We try to make each child’s learning experience a valuable one, as this is where a lifetime of learning begins. Our children’s learning is organised around programmes of study called themes or topics. The choice of topic is made by the teaching staff according to the interests and stages of development of the children involved, in keeping with the EYFS, National Curriculum of England and Montessori Curriculum Guidelines.

Topics are planned within a framework with definite outcomes and continuous assessment as sound guides as to how children are progressing and how the programmes of learning are being implemented.

Over the school year, our teaching ensures that all curriculum areas are covered, giving our children the skills, knowledge and experiences appropriate for children as they grow, learn and develop.

Children are individuals and need to be taught in a way that caters for their individual gifts, talents and needs. That is what we always aim for at Soong Ching Ling Kindergarten, we are continually guided by Madam Soong Ching Ling’s educational philosophy of ‘Giving the most valuable things to children’.

We offer classes from Nursery, for children aged 2 years to Year One for children aged 6.
We are a dedicated team that is committed to building a safe, secure, and solid foundation that prepares our children to be inclusive citizens while grounding them in core academic skills.
